Privacy Policy

This policy covers go.melthalo.com, a pre-launch page for Melt Halo products in the United States. We are not currently taking orders or payments through this site.

What we collect

• Your email address — only if you choose to reserve a box. That is the one piece of information you actively give us.
• Advertising identifiers — if you arrived from an ad, the URL carries identifiers for the campaign, ad set and ad. We use these to work out which creative brought you here.
• Device and usage data — IP address, browser and operating system, pages viewed, and how far down a page you scrolled.
• Cookies set by Meta — the Meta Pixel sets _fbp, and _fbc when you arrive from a Facebook or Instagram ad.

We do not collect payment details, government identifiers, or health information, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Why we collect it

• To email you when the product opens for U.S. orders, and to send the launch discount code we promised.
• To measure which advertising creative performs, so we spend less on ads that do not work.
• To keep the site secure and functioning.

Who we share it with

• Meta Platforms, Inc. — we send Meta a record of actions taken on this site (page views, adding to bag, reserving a box), both from your browser and from our server. When you reserve a box we send your email address as an irreversible SHA-256 hash, so Meta can match the conversion without receiving the address itself. See Meta’s Privacy Policy.
• Google LLC — reservations are recorded in a Google Sheet under our control. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare, Inc. — hosts this site and processes request logs.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising beyond the Meta measurement described above.

How to opt out

Choose Decline on the cookie notice and no measurement events will be sent from your browser or from our server. You can also clear site data, use your browser’s tracking protection, or adjust your Meta ad preferences.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — including under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, and comparable laws in Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia and Texas — you may have the right to know what we hold about you, to have it deleted, to correct it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Email hello@melthalo.com and we will respond within 45 days.

How long we keep it

Reservation emails are kept until the U.S. launch campaign ends or you unsubscribe, whichever comes first, and no longer than 24 months. Advertising and analytics data follow Meta’s and Cloudflare’s own retention periods.
